Piccolo incidente... - ...Little accident

... Not ocourred to the rainbow 500, but to the blue 600, my Mimma, driving which Uapa hit the car in front of her, in the most stupid way possible
:-(
Don't worry, nothing too bad, we just started moving when that happened, so no damage... At least I hope... Or at least that's what the other girl said about her car... But you never know!
As for me, just my right wrist is aching a little bit, cos I didn't make it quite elastic during the accident (so smart I am!
>.< ), and aching neck too (but I think that depens on the absurd position I slept in -_-' )...

Apart from that, everything seems ok!
The important thing anyway is that me and the other girl can still talk about that on our own legs, who cares about the rest!

Quel mazzolin di fiori...! - Little bunch of flowers!

I know the picture is horrible (formica background under neon light), but I was really looking forward to show you these little flowers! Cos they're the first Fimo clay-flowers I made, without squeezing them while working on them!
*.*

I found the tutorial online, ages ago, and obviously now I can't find that page anymore, but I can remember all the steps, all really simple :-)So, thanking the powerful tools of technology and thanking my incredible knowledge about computer science and art, here you have the instructions to make your own flowers
^^
1) Fate una pallina di Fimo...
1) Make a little clay ball...

2) Pressing and rolling one side of the ball, you'll obtain a cone from it...

3) With the help of a paint brush or of anything that has a quite rounded tip, start exscavating the base of your cone, just like you'd do to plant a beach umbrella in the sand...

4) Otterrete un nuovo cono, dall'interno cavo...
4) So you'll have a new cone, that will be empty inside...

5) At this point, with a pair of scissors (hoping they look less dangerous than the one I drew), cut the cone in five parts, so you'll have the five petals. While cutting, remember to not cut the tip of the cone, cos it's the part that keeps together all the petals!

Credetemi, è facile facile e tanto d'effetto
:-)
Staremo a vedere :-)

Once you did that, the only thing you need to do is open all the petals and give them all the shape you prefer: you can leave them like that or make them more round, you can create little waves or make them jagged, leave them smooth or make little lines on them...
To finish, you can again use the paint brush handle to emphasize the cavity of the flower.
Believe me, it's really really simple and it looks so good
:-)
The only thing you need to bear in mind is to not press the flowers with too much strength, as I did for years, killing all my previous little works ç_ç
To keep the flowers together, to avoid that, I used little nails you use to make earrings... And I think that makes the whole thing more strong too... We'll see :-)

You who follow me are already so great in making things with clay and I always learn a lot from you all, but in case someone just discovered this world, maybe finding this tutorial they can learn something more ^^ I hope I explained things in a good way ^^'

A hug to you all and thank you for reading me, even when you don't leave a comment :-*

Le Ricette di Uapa - Uapa's Recipes

Buongiorno a tutti!
Beh... Scopritelo voi stessi :-S

Good morning everyone!
In England too, well at least in that corner of England I know, Sunday is a special day during which people of a family have lunch all together... And Steve's mum, Marsha, who's also a great chef, at the end of the lunch always give us some sweet dish, to finish lunch in a lovely and gluttonous way :-)
And, as soon as I tried it, I fell in love with the famous Cheesecake, and I copied its recipe to try it at home ^^
Yes, I know I could find the recipe everywhere on the net or in recipes books, but aking it directly from an English mum make it seems more real XD
So I thought "Why don't you share this cooking experience with all the bloggers?" ...
The answer is really simple: cos sometimes I can really be a bungler!
Why? Well... Keep reading and you'll see what I mean :-S

Sciogliete il burro in un pentolino...
Melt the butter in a little saucepan...

...

...
...!
E poi???

Una coccola a tutti e buon inizio settimana! :-*

...
...
...!
And then???
Ad then I forgot to take other pictures, cos I was too busy and concentrated in mixing, crumbling, smearing, whipping, protecting (tiles), tasting! >.<
And I remembered about the pictures just when I closed the cake in the fridge @'.'@
So, at the moment, this is the only picture I have of the whole cheesecake I made -_-'
I don't have the recipe here right now, but I'll show you, with pictures, as soon as possible, I promise! :-)
Cuddles for everyone and start the week well! :-*

Uaparfume, the new fragrance, from Uapa.

Giallo ^^
Poi, quel pomeriggio accadde qualcosa.
Qualche giorno dopo...

Here's a true story, that would never happen if dad didn't bring home a branch of Mimosa.
Not a bunch. A branch.
After a long fight to put it in the right vase and after quick races to save it from Mimosivorous Birba, we could finally appreciate its lovely smell, so sweet, so full of energy and so... Yellow ^^
Then, that afternoon something happened.
Someone washed with care an old glass jar and used a little coffee plastic glass as dispenser... Then she started moving in the flat with suspicious movements... One part of tap water... Two parts of pure alcohol, took in the most hidden corner of the alcoholics shelf... A lot of little yellow balls picked up here and there from the mimosa's branch, trying to not make holes among the flowers... A shuffle and a dark and safe place where to leave it and make it rest...
Some days after that...

MM: Cos'è quel barattolo? :-S
MM: ... :-S
UU: Nghhh accipicchia quanto l'ho stretto bene... Stucc svit svit svit svit stapp! Ecco ci siamo... Una mescolatina e poi... Sniff sniff...!
MM: ...
UU:
MM: ?
UU: ò_O' !!!
MM: Ma cos'è?!
UU: Cetriolo o forse zucchina lessa sottaceto x_x
MM: Oh. Ma... Cosa doveva essere invece?
UU: Un soave profumo primaverile alla mimosa ç_ç
MM: Ma... Credo...
UU: Beh, volevo inventarlo io ç_ç

***

MM: What's that jar?

UU: Eh eh, mum, don't you think it really has a lovely colour? Between yellow and amber ;-)
MM: Uhm... Yes, apart from that light brown stuff floating in it... :-S
UU: Eh eh, this is an experiment I've worked on for several days. and I waited for years to do it. Finally this great day arrived, now I can open the jar and smell its fragrance! *.*
MM: ... :-S
UU: Nghhh oh I really closed it with srength... Stucc screw screw screw screw stapp! Here we are... I stir it just a bit and then... Sniff sniff...!

MM: ...
UU:
MM: ?
UU: ò_O' !!!
MM: What is it?!
UU: Cucumber or maybe boiled courgette with vinegar x_x
MM: Oh. Ehm... What should it be instead?
UU: A delicate spring smell of mimosa ç_ç
MM: Oh... I've never heard of a mimosa perfume actually... I think...
UU: Well, I wanted to invent it ç_ç

Believe me, the worse smell I could smell after the Red Pitaya of the Labello lip balm!
I can definitely say this experiment has failed.
But i don't give up!!! >.<

Giornata Mondiale del Gatto - World Cat's Day

Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr =^.^=

Auguri, meravigliosi gatti!

Nothing of what I can ever say, will say how much I love you.
Greetings, wonderful cats!

Le Teiere nella Vetrina - Kettles in the Showcase

Buongiorno!

Good morning!
As many of you recommended, I decided, at least for now, to not change the look of the little showcase I found on the dustbin!
And, just to not leave it in a corner taking dust on itself, I put it in our showcase in the living room, after filling it with some little Fimo things...

... Happiness Kettles and some sweets; some of them will stay with me, while the others are waiting to be adopted :-)

And now let me show you the last three Kettles I took out from the oven!

Tutte in Fimo e col loro gancino già pronto...
They're all made with Fimo clay and they all have their own little hook...

This is the very first thing I can make with white Fimo, avoiding it from being covered by millions of little black hair!
:->

A lot of slices of Fimo and Transparent Fimo canes, and a little flower made with micro beads on the lid, for this romantic kettle...

XD
... And a lot of dots and a little ribbon on the lid, for my favourite kettle ^^
And it's a miracle I could take back the picture I erased by mistake! XD

Well, that's all for the moment, I hope you liked these little news!

Thank you so very much for your advice and you all have a nice day! :-*

Forse ce la faccio! - Maybe I can do it!

The computer they gave me at work deserves his own post -_-'
So, now that it works and before it gets crazy again, I'll tell you about the nice blog candy of Marzia-Tartamilla :-)If you want to know more, visit her lovely blog
;-)

From Me To You

Ma quanto è carino Paul?? ^^

How cute Paul is??

Teiera della Felicità! - Happiness Kettle!

Ciao a tutti!

Hello everyone!
Finally I found a way to use the Happiness Kettles :-D
I just made some points here and there more strong, so now they're ready to become keyrings ^^
This is the first one, all in blue
:-)

The kettle is made with Fimo clay, decorated with flower canes. The little bell is hooked on the lace...
I hope you like it, I'm looking forward to show you the others ^^
Oh, talking about them, I'd better go and take them out from the oven or I'll be in troubles!
:-O

Yattaman e Uapa

XD

Yattaman didn't really travel like this.
Or not during all the trip, anyway.
I'm telling you this, cos I spent on the bus just 20 minutes in this terrible position and my arm is still screaming at me!
XD

Lamponi e Cioccolato - Raspberries and Chocolate

E perché mai ti fermi a semaforo verde?

XD

Oh bus driver, why on Earth you drive your bus as slowly as a snail even if your way is so free? Are you so sorry for people in traffic, you want to be close to them? And why you stop with green traffic light? Maybe you hope it'll become greener or of another colour you prefer more?

Anway, let's forget about these little things that everyday make me arrive at work like a sweaty ox that just fnished working in a field and hysteric like Smurfette after arguing with the smurf with glasses in one of her worse days!
It's a long time I didn't work with Fimo clay, so last week I decided to start again...
I had to make two pairs of "Bread and Nutella" earrings, so I thought of cooking something else too, including these two little raspberries!
They come from two scrap pieces of clay, their colours were too nice to leave them getting old there!
The're just an experiment, next time I want to make the little circles more close to each other... I made them with an old snap pen that didn't write anymore... Background: my felt bag XD

Che dite, sono sulla buona strada?
What do you think about it, am I on the right way?

Among the other things, there were also these two Kinder Bueno snacks!
It was a long time I wanted to make them, after spending years observing them with care... Yes, yes, good excuse for te gluttonous girl to eat quintals of them!
XD
I need to work a bit more on them too, but for the moment I'm happy with them... Maybe I could add a little ribbon? :-)

Ho deciso, devo prendere d'assalto la merceria! ;-)
Ok, I need to assault a haberdashery! ;-)

A mia volta devo invitare altre tre persone, impresa ardua!

Talking about haberdasheries! On Saturday I coud buy, for just 8€, a basket full of lovely laces!
:-O

At the moment they're all waiting to be used, I hope I won't waste them, but also to not make them become old for the fear of not using them how they deserve!
To finish, Alessandra invited me at Un Filo Di Fantasia's giveaway :-)
I have to invite other three persons, hard choice! So, seeing as I can't decide, cos all of you deserve that, I random chose my three people, who are...

Mari@
,
Il Cucchiaino Magico
Marianna, InnAmorArte
Pam, My Country Home

A presto! :-*

I'm sorry for all the others, but I have to follow the rules of this giveaway and I can't invite you all like I would :-(
But I give you all a big big hug :-)
See you soon! :-*

Uno scontro fra titani... - Clash of the titans...

"Mwahahah! "GROOOWL!!!"

- ... SIGNORINA?!

- °_°'

- ... Biglietto, prego... -_-'

- Eccolo @'.'@ growl @'.'@

Well yes, your Uapa, when she's really bored, can even do things like that. Like organising terrible battles between Haribo fruit bears.
On your left, the fomidable lemon bear, on your right the famous orange bear.
Two equivalent forces that fought using all their power. Anyway, as you can imagine, the fight was fatal for both of them: when they were tired and weakened, a giant hand (Uapa's one) caught them and made them food!
Same hand that, during a train trip to Pavia, already claimed other victims...
I was on the Eurostar and we already passed Florence, going north... As many other weekends, I was going to visit my ex-boyfriend who worked there and from who the really dangerous fabite had its origin.
Time was going so slowly, I already listened to my cd and I couldn't find inspiration to draw something... So I decided to eat something and, since I had just them, I decided to eat the Haribo fruit dinosaurs I just bougt at the really very cheap (ahem!) chef express trolley.

- Oh look, such nice colours... And such lovely shapes ^^ Uhm (Uapa takes a look around to make sure no one is looking at her) ... "What are you hoping to do against me?! I'm a powerful triceratops!" "Mwahahah! You can't fight against my strong stegosaurus tail!" "That's what you say! ROARRR!!!" "GROOOWL!!!"

- ... MADAM?!

-
°_°'

- ... Your ticket, please... -_-'

- Here it is @'.'@ growl @'.'@

Ma siamo passsi?! - Are we crazy or what?!

:-(

Portata a casa, lavata e disinfettata ed ora è in attesa...
Di che? Beh, per questo chiedo il vostro aiuto!
:-D

Aspetto fiduciosa consigli e ideuzze, e intanto vi ringrazio tutti per l'aiuto ^^

Nice, isn't it?
And guess where this wonder was?
On a dustbin!
And they didn't just throw it away, they even used it to keep the dustbin door open!!!
I don't have words..
When I saw it I couldn't nearly believe it and I couldn't really think of leaving it there :-(
So I took it home, I cleaned it well well and now it's waiting...
For what? Well, I ask for your help for that! :-D
That's the dilemma, the opinion poll is open: should I leave it like this or should I try to make it shabby or should I try to paint it with some delicate colour and decorate some parts with white paint?
I'll wait with hope for your advice and ideas, and meanwhile I thank you all for your help ^^

Born Free

Born free, as free as the wind blows
As free as the grass grows

Born free to follow your heart

Live free, and beauty surrounds you
The world still astounds you
Each time you look at a star

Stay free, where no walls divide you
You're free as a roaring tide
So there's no need to hide

Born free, and life is worth living
But only worth living
Cause you're born free

Thank you for letting me say goodbye to you, before going, little, furry cat, always ready for cuddles and strokes on your fur, full of delicate colours...
Now you're with your furry friends again, watching everthing with your big eyes, so opened as ever!
Run happily on the Bridge with them, sweet Misty! :-*
