> Ancora phone charms e orecchini - Phone charms again and earrings

It's hard to write this post, cos losing Whitetip was really bad.
But they say in some way life goes on, so I'm here to show you my new little works!
First of all, here there are new scented Fimo phone charms...
Sicilian Cannoli (typical Sicilian sweets... Yum) strawberry flavoured...

... And slices of apple and cinnamon cake!

E questi cubi misteriosi?
And what about these misterious cubes?
I must say maybe Pet Shop Boys inspired me... Take a look here!

Well, they became light and coloured phone charms too!

In the end these black earrings with butterfly charms... Actually they're more bright than the picture shows... But you know I'm not a photographer, so you'll forgive me for the horrible light!

Spero tanto che questi lavoretti vi siano piaciuti!
Buona Domenica a tutti!
:-*
I really hope you liked these little works!
I wish you all a nice Sunday!

> Ciao Whitetip!

Corri felice sul Ponte, dolce morbida Whitetip!
Run happy on the Bridge, sweet soft Whitetip!

> Autobus - Bus

Però poteva farmi finire di sbirciare Get Fuzzy!

Two mums talk with their daughters, while going to school.
A birthday party is near and they can't wait for sending invitations and trying new hairstyles.
Two normal mums with two normal daughters, who already have their little problems: "We have a lot of homeworks to do for tomorrow!".
Near them, a woman is going to work, arguing at the phone about more serious problems: there's some tension in her family, cos her mum, talking too well about her, threw her in the lions' den, causing the jealousy of her sister in law... And in my family the opposite thing happened!
Some seats behind them, a boy with headphones revises the lesson, preparing an exam that's getting nearer at every bus stop.
A man browses fast his newspaper to reach quickly the sports; better to not read some news, especially before a long working day... But he could at least let me read Get Fuzzy!
A girl in a delicate balance searches for something in her bag and nearly falls down when the 90 drives on a bad hole. Luckily that boy near her quickly stops her from falling on that old man! And i thought he didn't care about anything happening around him, hiding behind sunglasses.
Someone looks nervous, someone prolongs his sleep, someone reads a book and then stops to look out of the window.
Maybe they notice that park over the traffic too.
And me?
Today I'm here noticing them, thinking about what they are or could be, thinking about what they'll do today.
School, house, work... And all those little nothing, that make a life.

> Giornata delle Fate! - Fairy Day!

In many places of the Earth, this day is dedicated to the Fairies and the other inhabitants of the Little World!
To all those who believe in them and imagine them like little winged people or see them in the little things that still happen around us, like a blossoming flower, a dragonfly flying away, a delicate wind blowing...
To all those whose dreams are populated by these little shy beings...
To all those whose feet are nailed to the ground, wishing them they'll be able to open their hearts to imagination again and wishing them they'll learn to look beyond their own noses...
And to you all, whoever you are, happy Fairy Day! :-*

> Meglio tardi che mai, braccialetto con fettine di torta - Better late than never, bracelet with slices of cake

Oh!

Oh! Finally I managed to post this little work!
Do you remember the Fimo nut-coffee cake I used to make phone charms?
Well, some slices were left, but I didn't know what to do with them! :-S
But in the end, from one of my many boxes, some caramel heart shaped beads jumped out... So I mixed up everything and this bracelet was the result! ^^

New sweets... Eeehm new little works will be here soon, ready to know your opinion! ;-)

> Che cosa?! - What?!

Uhm..............................Che cosaaa?! >:-O
For months I prayed my boss to do shifts at work again, but he told me the other girl can work just in the morning and so I'm forced to work just in the afternoon.  è_é
Today, a girl who works in the office asked me: Why can't you work in the morning?
Abit confused, I asked: Excuse me, what did you say?
And she explained to me that the other girl working with me said she's forced to work always in the morning, cos I can work just in the afternoon.
Uhm.............................. Whaaat?! >:-O

Orecchini con murrine a fiori e phone charms profumati - Flowers beads earrings and scented phone charms

XD
As I promised, I'm here to show you my new little works :-)First of all these earrings and pendant, made with flowers murrine, also following precious advice I found on the wonderful blog of
Zuleykha... And those beads were born after I tried to demonstrate quickly and without care how to make murrine with Fimo clay... Well, I worked with Fimo, without caring at all and that was the result! XD

And in the end, some phone charms cake-shaped, made with Fimo clay again... This time there's something more about them: as the little slices of fruit on the cream suggest, they're all orange scented ^^In the oven there are some others strawberry and apple-cinnamon scented... You just need to find your favourite scent! :-)When they'll be ready, I'll show you ^^ Hopefully I won't burn them, my oven i a little bit old ^^'

PS: Scusate, ma ultimamente faccio un po' fatica per inserire le immagini XDPS: I'm sorry, but lately I find a bit hard to put images here XD

> Mercatino 2

Unfortunately the market was postponed to Sunday 6 June, cos weather is not really that good :-(
But that means I'll have more time to make more things ^^

> Give away!

Well, I wouldnt tell you actually, cos I know that then a lot of people will partecipate and I'll have less possibility to win these wonderful things... Uhm... Uhm... But today I feel particularly good, so i'll tell you...!
Alessandra, of the blog Dal Cielo In Su...  , will give away some of her great creations!
If you want to know what I'm talking about, visit her blog, and you'll see that is really worth partecipating!

> Mercatino, Tonf! - Little market, Tonf!

Tonf is the name of a soft sticky piglet I just bought ^^ One day I'll show you ^^
Meanwhile, I'll tell you something...
I know, Sunday is arriving and you didn't decide yet what to do... Don't worry, I have the solution! ^^'
You can all come and visit Casperia, in the area of Rieti, to spend a day (if you live near here) or a weekend (if you live a bit more far) different from usual :-)
So, while you'll walk through the pretty medieval village, you can take a look at the little market, where you can find my table too! XD
As ever, if you'll tell me you read my blog (even just by case), I'll have alittle gift for you :-)
Well, I gave you an idea... Then don't tell me you spent a boring day at home! ;-P

> Oooh!

Buon Lunedì a tutti! :-*

It took me a week to "recover" from the holiday, and I didn't go to Australia either! XD
So, let's not waste more time and start the week now!
First of all, I'm pleased to tell you about the blog candy organised by La Bottega delle Fate: the winner will receive the little fairy of the picture, entirely hand made by Sonia with corn clay!!! *.*
Of course I'm very happy to partecipate! :-)
And I have more than a reason to hope I'll win... Here at Uapa's home, some days ago, a little fairy-mouse arrived, the really sweet (and really little! :-O ) rainbow-mouse! Patient Sonia made him too, with her hands and corn clay! So I think he'd be happy to have some other fairy creature to keep him company! ;-)
Imagine the face of the postman when, from the balcony, I screamed "Yahoo, the mouse arrived! The mouse arrived!!!" ! :-D
Happy Monday to everyone! :-*

> Mamma Tutto - Everything Mum

Chi asciugava i pianti miei?
Mamma buona era lei...
Chi in cucina cucinava?
Mamma cuoca canticchiava...
Io la sera nel lettino,
Mamma a nanna lì vicino...
La mia mano nella sua
Mamma amica mia...!
Due più uno fanno tre,
Mamma scuola accanto a me...
Mal di pancia, o starnutivo:
Mamma medicina avevo...
Quando c'era il compleanno:
Mamma festa ogni anno
Mamma regalo, poi,
non mancava mai!
Poi la grande delusione
della prima passioncella

E arrivò Mamma sorella
Lei mi strinse sul suo cuore,
io dimenticai il dolore
con Mamma consolazione... Consolation-mum helped me...

Non sapevo ancora che
quella mamma era per me that mum was for me

Tutto quel che al mondo c'è
e in un attimo imparai:
Mamma Tutto è lei!

Who dried my eyes when I cried?

Good-mum did that...
Who cooked in the kitchen?
Cooking-mum sang there...
Me in my little bed at night,
Sleeping-mum there with me...
My hand in her hand
Mum my friend...!
Two and one make three,
School-mum close to me...
Belly ache or if I sneezed:
Medicine-mum took care of me...
When it was my birthday:
Party-mum every year...
And I never missed
Gift-mum!
Then the big delusion
after my first little love
And sister-mum came there
She hugged me and near her heart
I forgot the pain
Cos consolation-mum helped me...
I still didn't know
that mum was for me
Everything I needed in the world

so I immediately learned that:
she is Everything-mum!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VPvXiITF4c

Mamma tutto
( A. Testa - J. Broussolle - J. Kluger)

XD

I know, it's just a little song, but I like it so much :-)
I'm sorry for those who didn't have a mum, including my cat...
And I'm sorry I took for granted many things my mum did for me... Now I must stop it and dry my eyes, cos I'm flooding everything! XD

> Ulisse mi fa un baffo - Ulysses is nobody, compared to me

                                                White Bull
                                            Fontana - Fountain

Cicerone, cicciottone,
eri un bravo oratore;
io no

- coda di un'ora al check in;
- litigata bilingue contro chi si azzardava a passare avanti e contro chi, nel 2010, ancora ignora l'esistenza dei cestini della spazzatura;
- camminata di un km per raggiungere il  trenino navetta e altra camminata per arrivare al gate giusto (praticamente metà viaggio l'ho fatto a piedi);

E tutti i liquidi in mio possesso erano lì.

XD

I can't compete with Homer, so I won't type everything in verses... And you should feel lucky, seeing as my most famous poem is:

Roly-poly Cicero,
you were a great speaker;
I'm not
so I stop it.

After two hours in the Roman traffic, on Friday afternoon I finally arrived at the airport.
Staying there was characterized by:
- one hour waiting for the check in;
- bilingual arguing against people who didn't want to respect the queue and against those who, in 2010, still don't know about the existance of the garbage baskets;
- 1 km walk to reach the train that would have taken me to the right gate, after another long walk (in conclusion half of the trip I did on my feet);
- One hour waiting for the plane and attempted lynching of the Easyjet men, when they said "Maybe your flight will be here shortly or maybe tomorrow morning" . Maybe?! ò_O

Luckily the holiday was so beautiful *.*
The country around Windsor is great.
And the hills around Guilford too.
I think green of English lawns is slightly different from ours, stronger. And all houses there look like dolls-houses! :-D
Magpies and crows are everywhere, but you can also meet the coloured blue tits and wood pigeons, big like hens, and parrots that are by now used to life in the woods! XD
It looks like English people take special care of esthetics of gardens and green spaces in general, if they are flowerbeds or even just bits of lawn near a road.
A lot of people practice bird-feeding, they put feeders in the garden, where various birds can find their favourite food during cold season... I want to do it too *.* but I think with Birba waiting on the balcony, it wouldn't be a good idea!
You can meet squirrels too (some of them are so used to humans they even steal food from your hands) and rabbits living free in the many parks.
Now plants are full of flowers, a bit like here in March, and in the woods you can find carpets of blue bells, lovely little blue flowers :-)
Weather... Well, you know, Great Britain is an island, so weather changes easily... And they're not really famous for the sun XD
So as for the first day the t-shirt was quite useful, but, after the rain of the second day, wool coat saved my life: we found frost on the car window! XD
For all the creative friends: I visited a big giant supermarket, entirely dedicated to creative hobbies, like Fimo clay, beads, scrap-booking, works with paper-clothes-wood-metal... In conclusion, dedicated to all the creative things you can think about! A dream *.* where I found a lovely stamp, some Hama Beads and a pack of Swarovski crystals ^^
Unfortunately, as ever, I was too busy looking around me at all those things to take pictures of them XD and those you can see are the only two pictures I took, in the little town of Bracknell, 5 minutes from Steve's house :-)
Talking about Steve... He has a lovely niece, a mature sweet sweet cat named Whitetip and a very warm family :-)
He's so lovely too *.*
And he was very close to me, during the odyssey to go back home... Ready to know about it? Well, find a comfortable seat...

After a lot of romantic crying, we arrived at the familiar Gatwick airport. What I didn't know was that in a short time it would have became even more familiar XD
Usual procedure: check in, greetings, x rays... "Excuse me, is this bag yours? We have to inspect it..." ... :-|
For those who don't know, it's still working the rule that says you have to put all the liquid things of your hand baggage (perfumes, creams, lipsticks and things like that) , containing less than 100 ml each and reaching a maximum of 1 l, in a transparent plastic bag... And all my liquid things were there. Apart from a hand cream that made the policewoman suspicious... So they inspected all my bag and all the objects inside it and analyzed the cream... And so I missed the plane! :-|After miles (they use miles there ;-)  ) to arrive at the gate and then come back at the start, I asked for help at the assistance center of the airport.I must say they were all so kind, thing that I don't take for granted by now. After waiting for an hour, the Easyjet man made me book the ticket on the next plane... At 6:50 in the morning, again! XDSo Steve took me back at home and we prolongued the holiday, even if just for a little while :-)The next day, really early, I was again at Gatwick, alone, cos Steve had to go to work. And here another breaking news: the lovely Finnish volcano started spitting ash again, Scotland and Ireland in a chaos, a lot of desperate people, check in for flights to Rome closed, another flight missed  and Uapa caught by a sort of hysteric crying crisis! XDMan at the assistance center: "Oh, you're here again?!" "Eh, well, you know... ^^' "After waiting for just 6 hours, I finally sit on the plane to Rome, where, meanwhile, everyone was informed about my troubles. The trip was quite horrible, cos the plane danced a lot... And you all know how scared Uapa is... "Oh, look! After such a long wait I took the plane that's going to fall! XO " !!!
But luckily, after all this, I'm happy to be here telling you everything! ^^Well... I really think this is the right story to be tagged as "Uapa's Adventures" ! XD
