Torte e Primavera! - Cakes and Spring!

Ciao a tutti!

Vi chiedo ancora scusa per le foto scattate col telefono, ma... Per ora questo è quello che posso permettermi XD

Queste sono le prime tortine realizzate in terra Britannica e spero siano le prime di una lunga serie... Ma non aggiungo altro :-)

Partiamo!

Tanto tanto cioccolato: nel pan di Spagna, nella glassa, nelle praline e nelle cialde... 'Na bella botta de glicemia una bella carica di energia :-D

I apologise again for the pictures taken with the phone, but... At the moment that's what I can work with XD

These are my first British cakes and I hope there'll be a lot more following... But I'm not saying a word more :-)

A lot, and I mean a lot, of chocolate: in the sponge cake, in the icing, in the praline, in the biscuits... A burst of energy :-D

Ok, qui ho barato, perché le murrine non sono le mie... Ma le avevo comprate un sacco di tempo fa (per altri motivi, fra l'altro) e ormai era arrivato il momento di usarle!
Classica e romantica panna e fragola, per ora un pezzo unico, poi chissà :-)

Ok, I cheated on this, cos the canes are not mine... But I bought them a long time ago (for other reasons) and it was time to use them really!
Classic and romantic whipped cream and strawberries, at the moment a unique piece, then we'll see :-)

E dopo tutta questa dolcezza smielata ci voleva qualcosa di più frizzante, così entra in scena la torta al limone :-D

And after all these sweet cheesy things something a bit more sparkling was needed, so it's time for the lemon cake :-D

Spero che queste tortine vi siano piaciute e vi lascio con qualche foto scattata al giardino della mamma di Steve... Trovo che ci siano degli angoli davvero belli e voi? :-)

I bucaneve fanno capolino nell'erba, mentre le mangiatoie sono un via vai di uccellini...

Snowdrops show themselves in the grass, while birds come and go from the feeders...

I narcisi sprizzano dai vasi, colorando tutto di allegre macchie gialle!

Daffodils spurt from their pots, filling the garden with happy yellow spots!

... E chissà quest anno chi occuperà quella casetta?
