Dopo tanto ragù e tante lasagne, che neanche una trattoria, e dopo un terribile raffreddore di cui porto ancora i noiosi strascichi, oggi vi presento il primo lavoretto realizzato qui in Inghilterra, al mio arrivo, ormai quasi ben 3 anni fa!

E' una sagoma di legno a forma di cuore, su cui ho incollato della carta rossa a pois e delle decorazioni in legno.

I due uccellini sull'altalena, che ve lo dico a fare, dovremmo essere io e Steve (miele che straborda dallo schermo, pioggia di marshmallows, confettini di zucchero a mo' di coriandoli).

Dalla foto non si vede, ma ho reso il bordo del cuore più scuro, passandoci sopra un tampone di inchiostro per timbri :-)

Spero vi piaccia, noi lo abbiamo appeso alla porta della cucina ^^

After making a lot of bolognese sauce, after making a lot of lasagne, after defeating (sort of) a terrible cold, I'm here to show you the first craft work I did when I moved to England, nearly 3 years ago!

It's a wooden heard, on which I glued decorative red paper with white polka dots and wooden decorations.The two little birds on the swing, of course, are me and Steve (honey flowing out of the screen, marshmallows rain, hundreds and thousands thrown in the sky as confetti).

You can't see it from the picture, but I made the edge of the heart darker, by rubbing stamps ink on it :-)

I hope you'll like it, we hung it on the door of the kitchen ^^

Un funghetto, trallallà! - A little mushroom!

Pazientate, purtroppo la vostra Uapa non può ancora permettersi la macchina fotografica ^^'

Oggi vi presento un funghetto casetta di cui vado molto molto fiera, perché ho provato di nuovo ad utilizzare il Das, dopo anni (cioè, dalle medie, quindi proprio ANNI), ed è tutto dipinto a mano! :-D

E' stato piacevole lavorare di nuovo il Das e sentirne il profumo *.*

Questa stagione mi ispirava qualcosa che sapesse di bosco, così ecco questa casetta funghetto, con tanto di finestrella, comignolo e bacca adattata a zucca ^^

La casina è modellata intorno ad un mini barattolino per la marmellata, a lavoro ogni giorno ne buttano tanti, quindi io ne recupero più che posso XD

Be patient, your Uapa can't still afford to buy a new camera ^^

Today I'll show you a little mushroom house that made me really proud, cos I tried again to work with Das, after ages (I mean, last time I was around 13, so really AGES), and it's all hand painted! :-D

It was nice to work with Das agaain and smell its scent *.*

This season inspired me something wood like, so here is the little mushroom house, with its little window, its chimney and even a little berry adapted as a pumpkin ^^

The little house is built around a small marmelade jar, every day at work they throw away a lot of them, so I try to save as much of them as I can XD

Il barattolo tuttavia è troppo piccolo per ospitare una candelina e, comunque, non posso certo accendere una candela e poi coprirla col coperchio, quindi Steve ha pazientemente modificato una di quelle finte candeline di plastica con la lucina LED, per fare n modo che entrasse a pennello nel barattolino e così questa è la casetta in versione notturna :-D

However the jar is too little to fit a small candle and, anyway, I couldn't really light up a candle and then cover it with the lid, so teve patiently worked on a little LED candle so that it would fit the jar and so this is the night time version of the little house :-D
