La prima: tazzina da caffè con panna in silicone e biscottino di Fimo, farcito con crema in Fimo liquid. Una granella di confetti perlina completa il tutto :-)

The first one: coffee cup with silicone whipped cream and little Fimo biscuit, filled with Fimo liquid cream. Some beads sugar and it's ready to be served :-)

La seconda tazzina aveva una forma più particolare, quindi ho deciso di pucciare nella panna due cialdine a cannuccia ;-)

Romics 2013

Come anticipato ere fa, oggi posto qualche foto di Romics 2013!

Il ritardo è dovuto alla preparazione di un mercatino che si è svolto ieri a Trastevere: mi sono data alla creazione compulsiva di un sacco di cosine (a presto le foto), che però sono rimaste invendute, a causa della scarsa pubblicizzazione dell'evento... Avete presente il deserto? Ecco, solo un po' meno movimentato! XD

Pensate che ad un certo punto siamo andati a procacciare persone in giro! Sì, sì, proprio come quei ristoratori che adescano clienti fuori dai ristoranti! >.<

Comunque di sicuro è stata un'esperienza interessante, che cercherò di approfondire, magari altrove :-)

As anticipated ages ago, today I'll show you some pictures of Romics 2013!

Sorry for delay, but I was busy preparing a market I had yesterday in Trastevere (Rome): I made a looot of creations (soon the pictures), which didn't sell, cos the event wasn't adverted much... Can you imagine a desert? Well then, just a little less busy! XD

At one point we even had to go and hunt for people! Yes, just like those waiters who hunts customers out of their restaurant! >.<

Anyway it was an interesting experience for sure and I'll try to repeat it, maybe somewhere else :-)

Il livello culturale della manifestazione si è alzato molto, grazie anche alla presenza di Dante Alighieri, e sciusate se è poco!

Morticia era scandalizzata del fatto che anche i dolci Mini Pony fossero stati ammessi... Uapa invece è stata contentissima di averli incontrati, specialmete (e ti pareva) quello arcobaleno! ;-)

Morticia was shocked even the sweet Mini Pony were admitted... Uapa was so happy to meet them instead, especially (of course) the rainbow one! ;-)

Nonna, Andreotti e Lillo. - Grandmother, Andreotti and Lillo.

Questo è solo un aneddoto che nonna amava tanto raccontare e che la faceva tanto ridere. E mi è tornato in mente ieri, con la morte di Andreotti (e non starò qui a commentare quello che di giusto o sbagliato ha fatto in vita sua).

"Giochevamo in cortile tutti insieme, ma lui stava sempre in disparte, non è che c'avevamo confidenza... Sai un signorino ordinato, sempre lindo e pinto... Lo vedevo che annava a compra' la carta per scrive' e poi tornava a casa a studia' e non giocava mai coi compagnetti dell'età sua. All'epoca lo chiamaveno Lillo. E siccome stava sempre solo, perché porello, era timido, sai, un po' curvo, pallido, triste, perché stava sempre sui libri, allora lo canzonavano (prendevano in giro) e je dicevano << A Lillo, si tte rode er culo dillo!>> ! Le risate, porello... Però un po' me faceva pena. Me diceva << Claretta, sei l'unica che non mi prende in giro!>> poi se ne tonava a studia'..."

Se sia verità o fantasia, se sia stato lui oppure no, non lo saprò mai. Ma questo ricordo andava fermato su carta, anzi, su blog, per non farlo andare più via!

This is just a story grandmother loved to tell us and that made her laugh so much. And it came in my mind yesterday, with Andreotti's death (and I won't leave a comment on what of right and wrong he did during his life).

"We played in the street all together, but he would always stay apart, we weren't in confidence with each other...  You know he was a tidy young boy, always clean and perfect... I saw him going to buy writing paper and then he went back home to study and never played with mates of his age. At that time they called him Lillo. And because he was always on his own, cos poor, he was shy, you know with curved back, pale, sad, cos hespent all his time on the books, then they teased him and told him << Ohi Lillo, if you're nervous say it!>> (*said in a rude way, using Roman dialect, so that it would rhyme and sound funny) ! Poor, how much they laughed about it... But in a way I felt sorry for him. He told me <> then he went back studying..."

If it's true or not, if it was really him or not, I'll never know. But I had to fix this memory on paper, well, on the blog, to not make it fade away!

Nel frattempo, per non dimenticare qualcosa di decisamente più serio, vi lascio con questo video, in cui sono documentati gli ultimi attimi di vita di Prypjat e l'attuale stato della cittadina, che fu evacuata il 28 Aprile 1986, due giorni dopo l'incidente alla centrale nucleare di Chernobyl, a soli 2 km di distanza.
Tutto è esattamente come 26 anni fa, dato che per evitare il panico generale le autorità dissero ai cittadini di prendere solo l'essenziale per stare via pochi giorni. La città e la sua vita furono quindi abbandonate piuttosto in fretta, con bus collettivi, con la convinzione di tornare lì appena rientrato l'allarme.
La zona, ancora contaminata dalle radiazioni, è attualmente abitata da pochi soggetti, per lo più anziani tornati nelle loro vecchie case e svariate specie animali della foresta confinante, ed è visitabile tramite tour organizzati in partenza dalla capitale Kiev, con le dovute precauzioni (sia in entrata, che in uscita) e restrizioni (molte costruzioni, sebbene all'avanguardia per l'epoca, a causa della non manutenzione e dell'avanzare della natura, sono ormai pericolanti).
Sembra che le radiazioni, in alcuni punti, non siano più così elevate e che siano quindi compatibili con la vita, tuttavia sarà possibile poter tornare ad abitare l'area in modo sicuro e completo (coltivare frutta e verdura, allevare bestiame, rimuovere macerie/costruire) solo in un tempo previsto intorno ai 200-400 anni, quando si presume che il pericolo legato alle radiazioni sarà completamente decaduto (questo se il sarcofago che contiene il reattore incriminato reggerà senza problemi).
Ogni primo Maggio, i vecchi residenti tornano a far visita alle loro vecchie abitazioni, così ieri mi sono sentita di rivolgere loro un pensiero... Sperando che in futuro non esistano nuove Prypjat.

Meanwhile, to not forget about something really more serious, I'll leave you this video, about the last days of Prypjat and the present conditions of the little town, which was evacuated on 28 April 1986, two days after the disaster of Chernobyl nuclear plant, just 2 km away.
Everything is exactly how it was left 26 years ago, cos to avoid general panic authorities told the citizien to take away just the essential to stay away few days. The town and its life were so abandoned quite quickly, with buses, believing they would go back there as soon as the alarm would cease.
In the zone, still contaminated by radiations, now live few people, mainly elderly people who went back to their old houses and various animal species coming from the surrounding forests. You can visit it with organised tours leaving from the capital, Kiev, with the right precautions (both to go in and to come out) and restrictions (many buildings, even if they were quite modern at that time, could now collapse, due to the lack of cares and nature invading the place).
It seems like the radiations, in some places, are not that high as they used to be and that so they're compatible with life, but anyway it will be possible to actually live there in a safe and complete way (growing vegetables, fruit and animals, removing rubble/build new houses) just in approximately 200-400 years, when in theory the radioactive danger will expire completely (that if the sarcophagus where the reactor is kept will last without problems).
Every first of May, the old inhabitants go back there to visit their houses, so yesterday I really felt like having a thought for them... Hoping in the future there won't be another Prypjat.
